DRY NEEDLING

Pain Management Options

Dry needling has been a very effective treatment for the majority of musculoskeletal injuries including but not limited to: cervical headaches, sciatica, plantar fascitis, and rotator cuff tendonitis. I am certified through IAOM Level 1 and 2 and have been implementing it in my practice for years.

What to expect

I utilize a variety of monofilament needles of specific length and thickness appropriate for your condition and size. The needle is inserted through your skin into the muscle. You may feel an involuntary muscle twitch, burning, aching or deep pressure. All of these are good sensations that result in pain relief and improved mobility.
